Intro paragraph
1) A lot of people aren't willing to look at themselves. It's a hard thing to do. To look at yourself. It takes a lot of patience and internal searching, which is uncomfortable for everyone in the beginning. All professionals who work in a high level position know these traits are necessary to build a strong team, where all members bring and see something different, where the leader of that team must cohesively bring all of their elements together.
2) You can practice what you preach. You can be the change you want to see. You can pass that along to others within your life, within your company---- it's much easier to relate to others
3) Patience. Any successful CEO would tell you if you've got a crapstorm you're in the middle of, no one is just going to come and get you out of it. YOU must take immediate action to remedy the situation and make things happen. At the same time you must implement patience to know your work WILL provide the outcome your looking for. All great leaders have a patience for understanding. Patience for their clients, family, commute, down time, friends, cultural obligations, employees, and all of the uncontrollables in life. This all starts with learning patience for yourself and your development. You can then relate and implement that knowledge to other parts of your life.
